Canvas Print - Kittens Who Lost Their Mittens
Canvas Print - Kittens Who Lost Their Mittens
Here is the true story. Those naughty kittens did not ‘lose’ their mittens. They played with those mittens and batted them around and chased them until the mittens were nothing more than torn-up loose yarn strings. At which point the ‘mittens’ became even more fun to chase, because we all know how irresistible strings are to kittens. Unfortunately, it was a windy day and the kittens started losing control of their strings. The birds, who had been watching, saw an opportunity for their nest making and swooped in, collecting all of those mitten strings! The kittens panicked once they realized what they had done. Since they were already naughty to begin with, they convened and decided the best option would be to lie to their mother about what really happened and tell her they had lost them.
The story goes on to say that they ‘found’ their mittens, but that was a white lie as well, because they simply grabbed new mittens from the lost and found at their school.
The end.
