TRANSPORTATION 

Attendees are responsible for airfare. We will pick up and drop off from the Traverse City airport. Pick up is at 4pm on May 19th. Drop off at 12:45pm May 22nd.

In the following weeks we will provide you with all of the information about your trip. If your flight arrives in the morning, we will give you a fun list of things to do, see or eat in Traverse City while you are here!!

ACCOMMODATIONS

You will be staying at an amazing and tranquil property in Northern Michigan. There are two properties and each one is surrounded by nature and water, perfect for phenomenal walks :).

DO I NEED PAINTING EXPERIENCE?

NOPE! :) Everyone is welcome, whether you have a bit of experience or you have never painted before in your life. I believe we can all learn from each other and encourage each other right where we are! 

WHAT WILL I BE RECEIVING?

A healthy break from every day life while exploring your inner creativity and lots of laughs. M-C will walk you through completing a painting, start to finish, on a 24x36”, 30x40” or 36x36” gallery canvas. You will have access to all of her art supplies and will learn some of her tips and tricks. It will be a fabulous time to watch and learn from her creative process, while getting in touch with your own. If you are thinking “But I can’t draw a stick figure”, don’t worry!! You will amaze yourself!

FOOD

All meals listed in the itinerary are included. The only meals not included are lunch and dinner on Wednesday during our exploration time.

WHAT YOUR RETREAT WILL LOOK LIKE:

MONDAY

4:30pm Arrive at your peaceful retreat for the next 4 days!

6:00pm First group dinner together at one of our favorite local restaurants!

TUESDAY

9:30am Quick breakfast and we start painting together! Expect about 8 hours of uninterrupted easel time.

1:00pm Lunch time! Hope you love a fabulous charcuterie ;).

6:30pm Head into town for a delicious dinner at one of M-C’s top restaurants and talk about our favorite parts of the painting process.

8:30pm Head back to your vacation home for a relaxing night!

WEDNESDAY

9:30am Quick breakfast and we will work on adding the finishing touches to your fabulous painting!

1:00pm From the painting gallery we will be heading out to explore Northern Michigan! We will be checking out the cute towns around us for shopping, dining, site seeing, etc. We also have a fun beach walk (weather permitting) in store at M-C’s home.

7:30pm Head to a stunning beach for the most beautiful sunset (weather permitting) and then head back to the peaceful vacation homes and relax!

THURSDAY

9:00am Finish our masterpieces!! We will seal artwork, properly attach hanging hardware and frame your painting with a custom floater frame. If you are traveling via airplane, we will box and ship.

12:00pm Nibble on goodies and say goodbye to all of your new friends! Transportation back to Traverse City airport, for those who are flying.

We can’t wait to see the relationships and friendships that will follow. It is so nice to have a group of women who are on the same path, to bounce around ideas, get advice and lean on for support!
